Job Description/ Responsibilities
• Configure and develop ServiceNow IRM/GRC capabilities supporting the Archer-to-ServiceNow migration and modernization effort.
• Collaborate onsite with AMEX technical stakeholders on technical story elaboration, implementation planning, workflow design, and solution validation.
• Build POCs and rapid prototypes to validate technical approaches and accelerate delivery decisions.
• Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer flows, integrations, reports, and dashboards.
• Support REST/SOAP integrations, IntegrationHub, import sets, transform maps, migration validation, and technical defect resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation, code reviews, unit testing, system testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Coordinate closely with the offshore technical pod and technical lead to maintain consistent implementation standards and delivery continuity.
• 12-14+ years of ServiceNow configuration or development experience.
• Hands-on ServiceNow IRM/GRC implementation or technical configuration experience.
• Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, reports, and dashboards.
• Ability to work directly with client technical stakeholders in an onsite delivery setting.
• Experience supporting Agile technical delivery, testing, deployment, and production stabilization.
• Minimum 4 years experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, OpenShift, or comparable private cloud).
Team context: 1 of 3 onsite technical engineer positions on a 13-member ServiceNow IRM technical delivery pod (3 onsite + 10 offshore) supporting AMEX's Archer-to-ServiceNow IRM migration.
• Experience with Claude or related AI-assisted development/engineering tooling - highly preferred.
• Based in North Carolina or able to support onsite delivery in North Carolina - highly preferred.
• Archer-to-ServiceNow migration or broader GRC platform migration experience.
• Financial Services and regulated-enterprise delivery experience.

Compensation: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
